While I was with Naturally 7, we had the privilege of opening for Michael Bublé on three of his world tours (we were on tour with Michael for 6 years). Needless to say, I've seen A LOT of Michael Bublé shows. I also arranged a song for his Crazy Love album entitled "Stardust." When I did the demo of the song, I sang all of the parts and the lead just as a teaching reference. The demo version of the song didn't make the album as Michael had his own vision for it, but I always liked how the crooner-type jazz fit my voice, and I told myself, "one day, I'm going to record a crooner song." Picking "Misty" was a no-brainer for me as I had been listening to and absorbing the Ella Fitzgerald version since I was at Oakwood. I actually just gave away a vital piece of information. This is basically Ella's lead sung an octave lower.
